Most "charities" are!  Just look to see how much money & benefits the "CEO's" take in per year.

Just about everything is "big business" and the big shots need/get big money, so the amount really going to those in need is small.

Even Girl Scouts....The local girls selling 1000's of boxes of cookies only receive a few bucks for the effort.

And then big business buys the politicians which our supreme court allows them to do through contributions and this is what ( WE THE PEOPLE ) end up with.

I donate mostly to my wife and kids. We donate to the Boy Scout troop that we were involved with and that money goes directly to the scoutmaster to help pay for outings. Oh, and we donate to the local hook and ladder.

The American medical industry and big pharma do not want to cure your illness they want to prolong it. how else are they going to make money? Not by curing  you!

If your going to donate, do it locally.  The Red Cross, March of Dimes, of which $.90 of every $1 goes to administration.  Why else would they call it the March of Dimes ??  Even Good Will is privately owned, pays his help peanuts, and the rest is profit for the him.  His "overhead" is all tax write offs.

90% of all "charities" are a rip off.

Google salary of top people in "non-profit organizations"  its sickening!

Make a donation of a dollar to some and only a dime of it goes to the people it's supposed to.

A guy I once worked with had daughters in Girl Scouts, he wanted to donate to the local troop.  No, had to go through the national organization!
