The decals for these GT's are getting more expensive and obsolete day by day. I had "click it and stick it" do the decal for the frame cover on my GT18 and it is gorgeous. These decals have better UV and chemical resistance than the originals and they're alot cheaper.

There are some decals I don't have and if someone could forward that info to Nate at "click it", it would be much appreciated and help us all out.

Here are the decals needed.

07849600   (brake pedal decal) for GT17-20 located on right side of frame.

07860000 (rear pto speed decal on pto guard) GT17-gt20

07848900 (lift selector decal on left side of frame by selector lever)

07849400 (grasp handle not chain decal on back of frame.

If someone has an intact decal, all they have to do is take a good digital photo and provide some scaling measurements to go off of. In the event they have become faded, the colors can be adjusted. I'm not affiliated or marketing with this individual, but he did a great job on my first decal and providing info for the rest will help this Ariens community.

Thanks.

I have a really nice GT 18.  I'll have to check the condition of the stickers.  I can take/send some pics if need be.

I did one from the ground up and didn't realize half the stickers are obsolete and the other half are priced like engine parts. I'm sure someone else can chime in and provide the data for whatever we're missing. I forwarded the Ariens hood script decal data today, so that should be put. He has the frame cover decal which I purchased and he has the data for the dash tower with the power steering cutout, but mine was still in good shape and opted not get that one for now.

The ones that help most are the selector lever, brake operation, and grasp handle ones. Just need the exact outside dimensions and a clear pic.

Thanks.

I'll be working in the garage this weekend.  I'll see if I can get some pics/measurements for you.

Understandable.  My spare time is at a premium as well.

I could really use two new GT20 side hood stickers. If anyone has some please let me know.

Tom,

We're both in luck. I forwarded all of the dimensions and some clear pics for scaling on the "Ariens" hood script decals. Those are the ones I needed next and those should be available in the next few days for order. I'll keep you informed. Really need the decal on the rear PTO guard stating the rpms. That one I don't have at all.

PTO Guard= 3"Wx1 1/4"H

Grasp Handle= 4"Wx2"H

Tunnel Cover= 7 5/16"Wx7 3/8"H

Dash Panel= 10 1/2"Wx6 1/2" H

PTO Select= 4 5/8"Wx1 1/2"H

PTO Power= 2 3/4"Wx1"H

Let me know if you need better pics, letter heights, etc.  I have access to a better camera also.  My GT18 has power steering, so the dash panel sticker has the cutout in the sticker for the power steering valve body.  The non-power steering sticker will be solid/square with no cutout.

I forgot to measure the brake lever sticker.  I will post that later.  Sorry.

Billy

Submitted the dash tower power steering decal info a while back, but decided not to order one. Mine was near perfect and added a little original character to the resto. The frame cover decal is already available and comes with the small fan warning decal. That is the first one he did and it came out beautiful.

Only ordered the frame cover decal so far, but I'll get that one up tonight. This guy uses top notch material for outdoors, high in solvent and UV resistance. I'm sure with the technology today, much better than the oem originals.

Here is a good pic of the reproduction frame cover decal. Very happy with the quality and appearance and looking forward to getting all the decals up to par. Additional pic is my work in progress: GT18 rescued from the sticks in Dayton before Bo and Luke Duke had a chance to neglect it anymore. Ground up, full engine rebuild, and awaiting final decals for another 30 years of service.

Looking good!  That's just like the one I took the pics of.  Those decals should be perfect for that!

Thanks. Working on the final decal I need, which is the overlay for the shift console cover. My original cover had painted instructions which wore off and I'm not a big fan of the black decal. Thinking about a clear decal with instructions inked on the adhesive side. Would let the original paint show through and the white letters would pop.
