sticking in reverse

B112 sticks hard in reverse .checked gear oil, oiled moving parts , was kinda sticky all around at first but after oiling and working it a bunch it shifts good but I have to smack it to get it out of reverse ( not good ) any thoughts ?

Adjust the drive belt. The guide on the idler pulley is critical to have it at an angle that stops the belt. If that doesn't fix it, check that the clutch rod isn't holding the shift rod. Good Luck, Rick

Also, check to make sure the brake isn't to tight.

My 112, it doesn't shift well if my vari-speed is lower than about 4. Try shifting in a higher number.
