Found a 60's era Springfield recently, I think it may be a model 36, haven't had time to do much with it, just put it away for now, looks complete, but needs some attention. I put this in this forum because I think Wheel Horse bought out Springfield in 66 ??

Member wvbuzzmaster is a Springfield addict and loves these machines.
I believe you're right on the model 36 designation, but he will be able to give you a specific year and if Bob or Sam worked on it by how the bolts are turned. (I'm kidding, but you get the idea)
Lots of members here with info,

Oh, and the SF posts tend to go into the "Other" due to fewer of them being out there.
