If "no fault" kicked in, wouldn't that increase your insurance rate? You don't want that.

I can live with the dent in the hood.... matches the other dents, but I will need to find a used headlight lens, the mounts shattered on this one. Heck I may be able to JB this. Haven't looked too close, other chores took precedence. This is my work hoopty afterall and I am thinking on finding another $2,500 work car. It was a scare, and I stopped for gas 3 miles down the road and saw him pass so I knew he didn't go back for the plywood. PS I do have a picture of his truck plates.

at least you got $50. My cousin got rearended in Indy back in April, she had her truck less than a month. Hit and run, but she chased him. Ended up an undercover cop saw the whole thing and when guy stopped he blocked him. Hispanic got out of the car with the bottle of liquor still in his hand, no license or insurance. Not sure how much of her uninsured motorist covered her damage.

As I was thinking about this it reminded me of an incident that happened in Evansville Indiana about 2 years ago.

A truck hauling wood skids lost a skid and a motorcycle with 2 young adults were injured really bad, The girl is still in bad shape, but recovering.

The person/truck that lost the skid was never found.

I know the male M/C drivers father,
