I know some are not a fan of stacks. But I need to muffle more than what is happening now with the little stock one. What have you guys been doing to quiet the exhaust note?

Do you really have a stock muffler on it? The "Pancake" mufflers that originally came with these are pretty quiet........

I have that pancake new on a box, and a generic pop can on the engine. I didnt even try the stock because of the size, but I will now.

Always wondered what they'd sound like with two or three hotdog mufflers welded together.....

I've never been a fan of loud exhaust.

I am not a fan of the way the exhaust points at your face when adjusting the carb  :mad2: especially in this heat

I know a k91 is a bit smaller than what you have, but I have a kohler 1700W generator with one and I found a Nelson spark arrestor muffler  brand new on Ebay for like $20, I take this camping and don't want a Honduh or anything Chinamade,  but wanted to tone it down a bit so my camp neighbors don't complain as much.  The muffler I got is like 3-1/2" diam and about 10" long. I noticed a difference right away, it definitely is quieter than the original pancake, but not by as much as I'd have thought. It's fine for me, for sure. but no matter what you do some will still always complain....
