Like everyone else on GTTalk I am a sucker for any old garden tractor.  My wife found this one on the local facebook yard sale site for me.  Guy wanted $200.00 bucks for it.    I went to see it and just paid him for it without even trying to talk him down.  Seems to run fine but smokes a little just when you bring up the RPM.  I am hoping a good oil change might help that.   When its running sounds like it has a noisy bearing or two under it somewhere.  I will look into that when I get time.  He said they quit using because a bearing went out on the mower deck and he couldn't get the pulley off to replace it.    Needs a couple front tires too.  I like them original better than restored but I also like them to run like a swiss watch.  So when I get time I will see to its needs.   I'll get some more pics when I get it off the trailer.  Anyone know for sure what year this thing is?  The tractor data site says they made the 200 series from about 73 to 86.  Not sure that tells me much.  What do you guys think of these old Case machines?   Thanks, Jack..

Drive belt pulley bearings are dry.More than likely it's the jack-shaft bearings. The 210 I had here had dry bearings and would lock up intermediately and toss the front belt.

I'm uploading a 210 manual give me a minute.

Nice, I have a 210 but mine has the tan hood and fenders, it's #2 on my list to get to after my RAM, could you post a pic of the brake assembly on the transmission on yours, I think mine is missing parts an this would help me tell for sure.

No-just trying to help the new owner narrow down the year his was built. He is right about '73-'86. I have an idea what year it is from looking at it, but I want to make sure. Thanks for the offer though...
