I looked for forum rules but couldn't find anything so I hope I'm not braking any rules by asking this.

Going to sell my tractor and implements and need some help with pricing. Would like to sell as a package if possible. I know prices are different in other locations but I don't see many of these for sale and I'm having trouble coming up with a starting point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1972 JD 110

39" mower deck

31 tiller

Plow blade

Snow blower

Tire chains

Everything is in working condition but none of it is perfect. It's all very restorable.

Tractor, $5-700 depending on issues and quietness of mower deck, assuming variator works as it should.

$150 for the blade, $2-250 in the spring or fall.

$175-$225 for the tiller if complete. $250 two months ago, minimum.

$150 for the blower now, $250 if it's about to snow.

Sold together as a package you take a hit, in my area I would start at $1,200, expecting to get around a grand. If you have the space and can wait, sell the tractor and mower deck now. Plow and blower late October, tiller next March.

There was a mint 110 with cab, snowblower and mowing deck all excellent working condition last June.  Paint looked excellent,,may have been resprayed.  I saw it being trailered. I knew it was for sale but opted not to call as it would have ended up on my trailer.  No doubt it had been well maintained,,likely a estate deal. I would not have dickered much as it was priced at $800.. I thought it was a smoking' deal for the buyer.

Cat385B,

You may be on to something about breaking up the set. Put it all on craigslist and got an offer in 15 minutes.

It said "scrap is at an all time low right now, I'll give you $100 for it all, maybe a little more if the tires are good".

Wow.

It's too bad some people feel it necessary to screw someone over in order to make money.

They weren't looking for scrap, they wanted it for almost nothing so they could sell it for a huge profit, I hate people like that.

I've also seen people troll peoples ads on craigslist when a stupid offer like that is refused.

Well, I don't have to worry about being trolled except by the guys at work. Turns out the offer came in from someone I work with in the shop. He's out there right now laughing like crazy. He even put the shop phone number in his reply. I never call it so I didn't catch on.

Well, it sold already. Got $850 and he's leaving the snow blower. Snow blower will hit craigslist in a few months.

Thanks for the info guys.
