Well, Casey and I struck a deal. Thanks to him for driving it up. Thanks to all there for helping me load it.

Stuck a battery on it today, squirted in some carb cleaner and vroom! Engine is good, tranny moved too. Gonna lube it up and set it aside for now, but it's a runner! (stop laughing George).

That was a good pick with a working SSI coil! I say restore it, just so you can have the before and after photos!

No, he's keeping his 10... sorry. I'll tell him you asked tho :D

He was running the key for me & it started backing over his toes... it was for reasons like this that I intentionally only had him turn it over without me adding "fuel". He learned a valuable lesson... don't put digits where they may get damaged and listen to Dad about being careful not to jump in to fast and check things over first.
He wasn't in any danger & it just grazed the tip of his shoe, but the look on his face was PRICELESS. I then showed him that the clutch wasn't releasing the belt & then showed him how to manually release it.
Then we started the engine.:dancingbanana:

I swear I had that thing in neutral for ya Alan. Wait, wasn't George (Nut) messing with it when I last saw it get pulled away? LOL
As for digits and being careful, I have driven over my foot with GT's numerous times for just being stupid lol, and that is why I always wear my steel toe shoes. At least on a GT it don't hurt when you drive over your foot, just when you try to walk away with the tractor still on it LOL.

Congrats on the runner Alan! Glad you got it started! Maybe the next time we have to move it, you can just jump on and drive LOL!
