Brought it home and have proceeded to pull the good parts. What is the value on like the grill and the hydro trans?

Being watching this thread and glad to see you got what you got, as far as the Massey goes why not save it for parts for another one?

I brought the entire Massey home, I just want to know the value of the big parts as I need to pull the high dollar parts off and take the carcus back.

IMO from what I see in the 2 pic
Wheels weight chains
Entire Hydro trans-axle
Both fender guards, foot-boards and hydro belt guard on crank pulley
Any other tin that's not bent up.
Motor
Plastic dash if not busted up to much
Implement lift arm assembly if not broke
+???

The tin parts I always see tractors missing some pieces especially belt guard and right side fender guard
The motor SSI and carb if good and the rest have value
Plastic dash really hard to find a good one
Lift arm, seen a few broken ones
Trans-axle there's a splined coupler in there that fails.
Check to see if there's a bracket bolted to the front axle pivot bolt (snow blower bracket)

How much all that's worth??? All I know is that's the stuff someone who is restoring or fixing is looking for.

It isn't worth anything, we just wanted to see you buy it :poke:

It is hard to put a value on something, a lot of it depends on what you would have to charge for shipping if you are willing to ship. The SSI coils go for a decent chunk, the hydro trans could go for a decent amount but costs a lot to ship. Just to make it easy on you, I will give you $20 and you can bring it all up when you make it to the Extravaganza :D

Congratulations, you just bought the rest of most of it (I'm keeping wheels, tires, chains, weights, and the grill).

Hey, let me put a list togather for some small stuff.... If you don't mind, there are a few missing things on my hydro that having these small things would sure make life easy for me.

What kind of shape is the grille in?

Can you grab some photos of the tractor so we can see what's left on it and what kind of shape it's in? Personaly, I do not think any of it is "scrap" as it can all come in handy at some point.

I just was talking to Alan an hour or so ago about it in Chat and he is thinking of getting it for a Frankenproject, possibly. Go ahead and make the list and let me talk to Alan some, he might not be sure of it, but wants mostly what I don't I think. I figure we might be ok, just depends what parts it is you need and if the hydro is any good or not. Have yet to figure out what would have caused it to be scraped out originally. I agree, it is worth more than to be scrap.

Thanks... Depending on what he wants, I need little stuff like the special clips that hold the rods and brackets and things like that. I have to look at the rest of it to get a better idea what may be needed and is worth shipping.
