1970 W.T. Grant 3 speed internal in the rear axle with a 1970 Chicken Power motor with good compression . No spark but no big deal. Bet it will move on decent in 3rd gear.

That is an Ohlsson and Rice engine under that incredibly entertaining name.  That engine is worth a little chunk of change by itself.

Careful that you don't race too many Harley guys.  They hate to loose.

If the engine is on the front wheel, the 3 speed rear won't make a darn bit of difference in speed, unless you are peddling too!

Scrap yard $20. I did some research and found a site where I can get anything it needs. I can change to electronic ignition including the spark plug for $35 if needed to make it spark.

You'll get some pretty funny looks riding that thing around! I can remember going to Western Auto with my Dad and drooling over those things.

We'll see, a friend of mine that collects bike is after it already. If I let him have it he will send me a video. Can't see me riding it @ 70.

The younger generation does not know what Western Auto was. You could get some neat stuff at them.

Sure could!  I could spend hours looking at all they had in our small store in town.  Bike parts, sporting goods, engine parts....the list never ended!

Mine sorta of came from having a 40 Ford, 55 Chevy and a 57 Chevy and working on them all the time, like the Dukes of Hazzard mechanic cooter always working on cars. As kids came cars had to go, sad to say.
