Grew up on Speedex, friend of family started selling them mid '60's . My uncle bought the first one off of him ,I was to young to operate it, he liked it so much he bought another, then Dad bought ours ,I was probably about 10 (used to fight with my brothers about who's turn to mow with it), 8hp elec. start 3spd (+reverse). We had it forever, Dad traded it in on a 1430 and had it till he passed, older brother got it and then one of his ex's got it when she got their house and then who knows, but I came close with this one and am very pleased sitting on it riding around down memory lane.

One of best models I believe. I want one of those front carriiers, IF any ever finds one Not attached! Too nice of implements to even get dirty.

Hmmmm, same guy offered one to me when I bought two tractors from him for $90! Was winter and buried in snow, didn't wanna look for it then. Too pricey now for this Cheap-A** to buy now!

153.jpg Nothing like a Speedex! I like the slightly older ones.

Congratulations. That looks like a low hours, well maintained tractor with lots of attachments. A rare catch indeed!

That's a fine looking tractor. Well equipped too. Love to have one, but I've never seen a decent pop up where live. Nice story too, thanks for sharing it, congrats!
