What I'm looking for is a discontinued in-line  transmission filter for a Bolens H14 1456 the part  # 1727231 or the discontinued  Fram  P1659.  Someone told me other brands of tractors used this same setup. But I can't find them. ( Sears, New Holland, Jacobsen)
Thanks

Someone told me they want $125  for one.  I'll have to see.  Seems a little steep. I might have to convert over to the screw-on tpye.

There's been talk about this filter before on here,I think its a shame that the price is where its at on them, makes no sense to me,I understand at times the dealers hands are tied due to what the manufacture  is charging them ,but still, unless your doing a resto and a show piece,it's no wonder guys are junking this stuff,$125.00 filter on a $350.00- $400.00 tractor,not many going to do that IMO

Right now that filter at NH is $117+change. You can convert it for less money than that!

I would convert to the spin on using the typical filter you can find for less than $8.
