The castors appear to be bent,

Two different style motors on the deck. 

Why is there a board holding up the lid on the rear battery box?

I would really need to see the condition of the battery boxes before I drove that far and paid anything close to that price.    Rick

The stick under the seat looks like a trick I pulled on a tractor or two .It would straddle the seat swith for positive contact and actually give a less bouncy ride because the stick eliminates the spring action .
