My friend in Maine was given this by a retiring coworker when he bought some other things. He has no interest in it and would rather someone take it who would use it. His second option is to scrap it for the steel. the engine runs on idle only he says, won't power up.

The engine won't get scrapped ! He will take that off if no one takes the whole thing.  I might end up with it.

Tom, you should just grab the whole thing. Just don't let the kids be anywhere near it when you start it. I've got plenty of brush that you can try it out on. I'll even donate a carb kit if you bring it here. Good Luck, Rick

Apparently previous owner took a small engine class at local high school and rebuilt the engine too! Might just need some tlc.
