Just a shout out to The American Flag. It's your day today. Thank you for waving all these years. You keep our county proud and wave for the free because of the brave.

As a kid in school in the 50s and 60s it was a big honor when it came your time to to be able to take the flag down at the end of the day and fold it right and put it away for the night. It was a bigger honor to help raise it tin the morning before school.

May you wave high and safe for another 200+ years.                                                                                                           Roger

Didn't know either. We have little one to put out on pole of garage, but today is all stormy and shouldn't put one out in rain. SO, there, that's my excuse.

Just as important: it is the birthday of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the wife's and mine anniversary. We were married in the Generals Chapel at FT Belvoir, VA 37 years ago. We chose a patriotic day at a time when patriotism was not in fashion. Good Luck, Rick

Thanks for the reminder Roger.

I fly the flag at my home most of the year, except winter.  Ice kills the house mounted flags.

Happy Anniversary Rick and Mrs.
