Made a trip to a tractor show I never been to and was lucky to buy a very nice Brinly rake and also a very nice Johnson modal 10 loader.   I think the loader will look nice on one of my tube frames.

Nice finds!

How is that rake powered? is there a drive shaft  running up the side of the wheel?

It looks like its ground driven just by the rake touching the ground.

Those are called wheel rakes.  The wheel turns clockwise as it touches the ground and the grass is lifted to the right in a windrow.  There is a lot of this style in Hay country but much, much larger.  some have as many as 20 wheels and take 3 mower swath to one windrow.

Very nice finds. Your Model 10 will look good on a tube frame. Here's one on my 1556.

Thanks ED. When you get time could you post photos of how your modal 10 mounts to your tractor?
