I just removed a fender and there is the IH red paint on both the fender and the tractor. To me, it looks like this is the first time the fender was taken off. Yea, I know, I'm making a big deal out of this, but I would still like to find more info on it.

I found out some more info on the tractor. Here is a pic someone posted of a Hunter/Lambert tractor. His tractor says Hunter on the dash, but it says Lambert on the hood. The fenders and dash tower are the same as mine, but his hood is shaped like a Hunter tractor hood. These must have been transition tractors as mentioned earlier in this thread. At least I'm finding out something about this machine thanks to members here and on the yahoo groups Lambert sight.
