Do any of our N.Y. members live near the prison where this drama is acting out? Apparently, the two escapees were seen near Willsboro, 30 miles away and police are closing in by the bus loads.

It is probably a diversion. They could be anywhere. The whole thing was an inside job. What were two convicted murders doing in the "Honor Block"? Who got them the power tools to cut the concrete? What guards ignored the noise from the power tools? Just a strong arguement for stricter prisons and the death penalty. Good Luck, Rick

I live in New York, but on the opposite side.
I can imagine it must be pretty chaotic for the civilians there.

You don't have to be near such a situation to know the officer behind you needs a clear lane . Stressfull in many ways .

These are very bad guys. If you live anywhere near there be very careful, even in your own yard. Take care to those who do live there. Here's to hoping they are caught real soon.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Roger.

Hopefully they will get what they rightfully deserve - one precisely placed bullet.

that whole thing is playing out about 3 hours north of me.  We keep a fairly tight neighborhood here so I don't concern to much about thing like this, on the other hand I have gotten out my trusty 12ga and made sure it is loaded and within reach for the time being.  this is going to get ugly for anyone involved really quickly, I heard on the news yesterday that they found a woman dead in vt and her car was missing, nothing about it since.  these guys will get caught and hopefully shot.

I rode my snowmobile past that prison back in 1991..  I am nowhere near that but the wife insists on locking/dead-bolting every door in the house..  I told the dog last night-  Chet, you'll just have to hold it for a few days as it's too dangerous to let you outside with those criminals running about!   :poke:

I hope whoever finds those A-holes saves the taxpayers a lot of trouble & $$$ and jut puts two in each of their heads!!

On a side note..  Seeing Cuomo tour the jail..  I hope he saw a cell he liked!@!

Whatever will be will be..  No locked door is gonna stop those guys from entering the house..  They may be disappointed after they enter though..  A bull Mastiff and lead suppositories for their diet!

Camp is 56 miles from Willsboro.  I was planning to be at camp this weekend.

If they drop by, I'll be having friends over.  Smith & Wesson and Remington, just to name them.

It's no joke though.  Those are dangerous men and I'd rather they not drop in.  I hope the folks near there take care and stay safe and calm.
