This is a sign I made for my church. I made an oak frame and installed a piece of 1/4" oak plywood. Then with a piece of 3/8" oak, I cut out the letters with a scroll saw. Then it was glued over the plywood. It gives it a sort of handcarved look.

I've been trying to batch out some cutting boards for gifts.

The one on the left is in its last glue up, and just needs sanded and finished applied.
These are all cherry and walnut.

I have also started on another project and have surfaced about 20 bd ft of maple so far. Some it has some nice spalting to it.

I have a cutting board that my son made in high school. It is in need of some repair. Hopefully, next spring I can get it fixed and give it back to him. It was a present to his mother. She will be happy I did this for him.

Nice job Chuck. I know how difficult a project like that is.
