I thought I would start a new thread to share my wood working projects instead of hijacking DanO's.

Here is my latest project that I am working on. It is a small box made from applewood. In the pictures it has 1 coat of linseed oil. I will be putting a few more coats of oil on it, then it will get a poly finish.

This was just a piece of apple wood I grabbed out of the firewood pile.

Thanks, I don't have a lot of experience with a bandsaw and this was a fun way to practice.

Nice Job Chuck....You do enough serious Woodworking to warrant your own thread, I'm just an occasional Woodworking Tickerer....Been Enjoying seeing your great projects, keep up the good work.
Maybe. when you have time you can give us a tour of your woodworking shop? That would be Cool.

That's something I'm not going to tackle. Good first try. It'll get better as you figure out what you need to do. Thanks for the link.

I've been working on some rocking horses that are Christmas gifts.

One is for my son who is 16 months old and one is for my nephew who is 7 months old. I built them as part of The wood whispers Charity build.
