I believe this trailer is an older Allis Chalmers accessory trailer. I think it was purchased to transport a tractor. Sturdy, but needs a little work. New tires, new wheel bearings, new light kit. Have original tires and rims. Trailer tilts for loading and unloading. Comes with bill of sale.

I called and am second in line for this. Will know in an hour. Good Luck, Rick

Looks like a snowmobile trailer.

Allis Chalmers did make a snowmobile back in 1965 but not many were produced and as far as I know only 1 survived. It was powered by a LLoyd OHV 4 stroke engine and had 4 speed with reverse.

Man, Connecticut is too far, but the price is excellent. Anyone going to be making the a trip into PA from that area, I have family in Eastern PA.

I bought it and brought it home. It needs a bunch of work. I was surprised that it is much longer and wider than the Cox trailer I've been using. Good Luck, Rick

I have not been able to find serial number tags on either of the Snowcos that I have. This one does have AC decals on the sides and on the fenders but they are partially painted over. I've done a bunch of research and it appears that both of mine should be painted the factory pearl gray and foam green. I found an operators manual for the 48 and 54 series trailers. It even includes the original assembly instructions and parts list. I tried to download the manual but I could only print it. I wanted to put a copy in our Manuals Section. Now I can't find it. Good Luck, Rick

I found the manual:  http://www.myelec-tr.../ct58manual.pdf

Nice, love those old Snoco trailers, haven't found one that's not beat to death around here, but would love to find one someday.

Rustoleum has a "Seafoam Green" in spray cans that is  a perfect match.
