thanks I am glad you chimed in as I wasn't sure if it was a home built unit or not.

I keep hoping to come across the Terra-Blade that Johnson made for the Large Frames.

What's rare in the Bolens World?  Making an S14D in a 1476 run.  That would be very rare in my book.

What is the terra-blade?

The Terra-blade was Johnson Hydraulic's mid-mount grader blade for the Large Frames. Johnson was also the manufacturer of FEL's for garden tractors. They also made the Bolens Large Frame forklift conversion that put the mast and forks on the back of the tractor (unlike the one that Old Buzzard has).

I saw the most unusual Bolens on craigslist a few months ago. I had never seen anything like it I would guess it was made shortly before Bolens was bought out because it looked newer but it still had the FMC logo on it. I wish I would have bought it. It was listed for $100 with the deck. At very least I should have saved a picture of it. I have seen just about every Bolens model made but I have never seen like it. I almost wonder if it was a prototype? I was in a town near Port Washington.

It has safely made its way into the back of my truck. What's better than getting something you want? When I got home I didn't say to my wife anything about what I bought. I told her that I had just met the nicest family. It's good to meet good people.image.jpeg

This is advertised as a Bolens attachment. I assume it's for a Bolens Ezekiel ?

I am fairly confident in my assessment of that being homemade.

And your auto-correct is working just fine.       :rolling:

I have been looking for a EZ-RAKE thatcher attachment for my EK's for a long time and have had no luck!!

I have one an it's the only one I have seen. Never used it do to it takes different mounting arms then the mower deck or snow blower/reel mower. The ones for the 42in deck are not wide enough I thought it was modified to go on the EK but the part number is right so I guess I'll have to make a set. I won't say it's a rare attachment someone might get offended

Getting all the Bolens guys here to agree on something. That's rare.

i been through the whole 8 pages an seems like nothing is rare the only thing no1 disagreed on is the hdt1000 I guess there's a ton of bulldog 360 trenchers mine is serial number 46 an the Danuser cd1 for the LF everyone seems to agree but I won't say the TF ones are lol seems like no1 wants to acknowledge that something is rare or not. It might drive the price up if you say something is "rare" lol smh
