I also think the term rare has a geographic component to it as well - If you said are "tube frames rare" - in a worldwide context probably not, in a NZ context then the answer would be yes. Bit like my Morris Minor, Pretty common here, but I bet you wouldn't see many in the States. Its all relative.

That ad is from the Seattle area Craigslist near where I live. I came across it a few days ago but couldn't identify the red attachment. What is it?

well that's the ever elusive mole chaser. You hook it up to the sleeve attachment jobber and when you see a dirt mound in the field you drive around it with that bad boy while shooting the ground with the double barrel shotgun. Then you go back to the barn and have another 6 pack while you wait to see if another mound appears. Repeat as necessary. That's my guess anyhow, I grew up in Alaska so I have to make things up or guess.

For Large Frames, I would guess that both the Bulldog trencher and the Danuser CD-1 post hole digger would have to be considered rare. And of course the Johnson forklift conversion.

That's a sleeve hitch cultivator.  Most likely made by Brinly.

It's common if you own it, but it becomes rare if you want to buy it.

Beware of sellers that say "I know what I got."

yeah trying to find anything from a manufacturer that plain-plumb doesnt even exist anymore is rare by default id wager... I am glad to have got the deck and wood shredder/grinder and rototiller in such good shape. I have bought the earthcavator and sprayer. The earthcavator needs to be adapted.

Not sure what you're talking about, Willis. Ben and I agree 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time? He's wrong!
