Anyone out there have experience replacing the AM102596 regulators?

I found these alternatives on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co...&qid=1433516358

I am thinking the larger version with more aluminum heat sink makes more sense that the smaller versions.

Any thoughts/comments on these?

Good to know you can get that replacement.  I was thinking the same as you - cheap is not aways a good thing.  Same stuff from same sellers on eBay too. I found the regulator from the 312 but it does not change the gauge on the dash (which I think is bad).  I will let you know about the replacement.

BTW - is that a 15 Amp piece?

The part number you gave is for 10AMP

I agree cheap is not always better, and I'm not just saying that because I sell parts but from my own experience using "Bargain" parts from Chinese wholesalers before I became a dealer.

Well, I am going to go with the 15 Amp version so watch for a message.  I also ordered a new gauge for my 120 from Hapcoparts.
