I shouldn't, but I did. Its an 850 with no attachments and a mouse nest in the engine. Its 3 miles from me and I've bought tools from him before. I looked at it and we had a 3 hour conversation. He is USCG retired and we are the same age. I tried to convince him that it was in his best interest to keep it. He then told me about the Early Landlord that he is getting soon. He won that argument. I'll pick it up this evening. Good Luck, Rick

condition: salvage
make / manufacturer: Bolens

I have a vintage Bolens tractor I acquired a few years back with hopes of restoring. Well now I need room in the barn and my priorities have changed. This is a very solid machine with a Wisconsin motor. It does not run and has not for years. This unit needs work. I'm not sure of the year. I will let it go to the first reasonable offer. If interested send ph #.
Thanks for looking.
P.S. I really don't want to scrap it.

I'll bet that with very little work, it will run! Nice find.

Last years' Simplicity welcomes a new brother:  SD530861.JPG

I won't get to work on it for 2 weeks because of other high priority projects. BTW his best offer had only been $30. I gave him $50 and 2 covers. I will help him with his Landlord when he gets that too. Good Luck, Rick
