Speedex "3pt" hitch I think should have some shoulder bolts below where it pivots. I have one above for the upper link in it now, and thinking maybe same ones should be at bottom. I haven't tried it there, yet it looks right, will check. It is basic 5/8" shank, 1/2" or so threaded part for nut, But this one has big round head with two flat sides, guess for wrench? Here's a picture of the one still in tractor. The heavy part is not very long, so thinking ones that short might be harder to find. Anything from you Bolen's guys or ???

McMaster-Carr has some shoulder bolts, but will have a different head.

GL, isn't that where the implement hooks up?
If so, that should be a pin, I think.

MH81, Yes, that is the upper link mount. Below that where system bolts up, 1/2" bolt each side right now, can't see in picture is where I think this bolt should be. I only have that one and need another if it is right one. I'm gonna go out and try it below. The holes below with 1/2" bolts in them are really 5/8" on the one part, so think it needs this bolt. I especially like the BIG head on this one. I will be using a pin above where this one is, IF I ever hook up a top-link.

I agree that it should be a pin with an R clip and not a bolt.  Quick & easy on off with your top link.  That is all the big tractors use is pins.

My guess too a bolt shouldn't be there. That threaded part looks to be smaller in diameter than the shank part...wouldn't that be a sloppy fit. Let us know what you come up with.

If it is correct and you have to have it, maybe you know someone with a lathe. It looks simple to make.
