I found a couple used ones for wide frame Cub Cadets. My uncle has a cub I could borrow, but would rather have one for on my 1855. Want to use it for getting gravel off of the lawn after the snow melts.

Rotary broom/sweepster for 1855?

That would be a handy attachment to have. I would also like to get a rock rake for the garden at some point. Do you think you could adapt one from another brand to work with the 1855?

Might be possible to adapt one of the ones for the wide frame cub cadet. I think I saw somewhere they were 2000 rpm gearbox on the sweeper. Had also been looking at walk behind models, but thats just another engine to maintain. Stihl also has a tiller called the Yard Boss ($369) that you can get a bristle brush attachment ($149) for.

Bought a sweepster C36 walk behind. 36" brush, 5.5 briggs, & collector. $450 In other words, so ends the search for a broom for the tractor.
