Morning,

Did anyone else go to the auction Saturday ? The much anticipated event was beset by terrible weather rain started about noon it was for Drakes a small engine business whose owner had passed away .This was a about 60 years worth of stuff one large garage filled with small engine parts still in boxes mostly Briggs and Tecumseh but take a look at the Clinton stuff ! I have never seen a sale quite like this brand new Briggs and Tecumseh engines still in the boxes there was everything from a John Deere crawler to tools.

No walk behind tractors but some British Atco mowers ,Howard "Gem " tiller, Bolens large frame tractor and a German tractor.

Here is the little German tractor it did run ,I know the name little unsure how to spell it. A Clinton vertical for a lawn mower , some National tractors and the ever popular " Snow Hound " blower . A unusual Atco boat engine this two piece unit was like 6 feet long the engine and mount separated from the lower end for transport. Original literature for the Atco mowers ,Howard tillers and every manual for anything ever sold it seemed tables and boxes everywhere. Tons of old chain saws and engines . Cheers Mike

Mike, is the tractor a Bungartz? Did you record any selling prices?

Yes Doug that is it ! No I left early but am tracking down some friends who stayed later , while post it .I was interested in the Bolens large frame also the large English Howard Gem tiller. The book for it was inside the tiller was complete down to the hand crank,it was a JAP engine really a large machine. Also the was what I think was a small 4 cylinder gas Hughes Payloader, not sure of that spelling either . Cheers and happy hunting Mike
