Dad and I are getting an early start (between 7 and 8 am) so we can get there by noon.

We are going to try and head out of here around 4am.

We are going to try and head out of here around 4am.

We like to move in the daylight. Really not that bad to get there about noon, all the action is going on by then. Just need to get there to be able to make a few passes with both tractors.

I will try Casey, but they are starting at 8. You might want to get started a little earlier if you can.

We are 90% there, have one more tractor & the implements to go. See you all in the morning. Looking forward to seeing /meeting everyone.

I am up at 6am, hoping to get out of here at 7 am, give or take 15 minutes now cause Dad found an old movie that ends at 7:30, gonna push him though lol. Hope to see ya all around noon. And if all the plowing is done by then, I can always drag around the disk I guess.

Well, Plow Day is Over!

Sparky, TractorHead04, WVBuzzMaster, Nutndun, Grand, Caseguy and myself (with Ryan) all made it and found some dry ground to turn. We didn't set any records, but I think we all had fun with the BS sessions & fine tuning the plows.

The ground here is good, but not quite as easy as down in Danville. I was a little concerned that the big ones would plow it all before Casey got there, but after talking to the Land Owner, he said to go ahead on the field that was too wet in the morning. It had dried out enough to turn.

I will upload these pics into the gallery when it is created, will post link then. My kids had the camera for a while, so I'm a little thin, but I know Caseguy & Nutndun got some shots too.

GT's there today were:
Bush Hog D4-10
Elect Trac E-20
Bolens 800
MF10
Case 444
Craftsman GT18
Sears SS12
Wheel Horse 314-8
Craftsman GT5000
B112 Allis
Wheel Horse 804
Wheel Horse Commando 8
Cub Cadet 100
Cub Cadet 106
Power King 1614
Toro (Springfield)

It was a fantastic day of seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I want to thank everyone who came, very glad you could make it.

Just got in 10 minutes ago and looking at the pics seeing a few of me. :D That one shot of the right rear corner of the Caterpillar shows off the winch lift and alternator (ahead of my foot) very nicely. All in all I had a great day meeting the gang and can't wait til next go round.

Ya, thanks Alan, I enjoyed the day. I know you had your eye on that lift and want to duplicate it for your Craftsman lol. The George's were convoying with us for a while on the way back down I-79 until Dad and I stopped off for a bite to eat. Very great group you guys are.

I will post more later, but just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had today. The weather was great and we all had time to do some plowing. I would like to thank Alan (MH81) and Steve (Caseguy) for allowing us to be a part of their clubs plowday.

I was going to post last night but I was beat so I decided to just call it a night. We had a great time and want to thank Alan, Steve and their families and club for having us. Couldn't have asked for better weather and I think we all have the sunburn to prove it LOL.

The ground was pretty tacky and made the garden tractors fight for it a little more but everyone's tractor did a great job. Casey was having a little trouble with the throttle on the Kohler on his Case 444. Casey did a great job with setting up his winch on the Caterpillar for lift. He just needs more weight on his ass. Steve had a little temporary trouble with his Wheel Horse but got it fixed in the field. Dad's Bolens had a little trouble with carb adjustments, it started to surge and then shut off on him. So a little carb tuning and the Bolens was running great again.

It was great meeting Sparky(Fred), Casey(wvbuzzmaster), Jeromy(tractorhead) for the first time. Sparky brought a Elec-Trak E-20 that Casey bought off of him. They are definitely unique pieces.

I did get some video and will be posting that a little later. I didn't get as many pictures and video as I usually do because we took a little more time to just enjoy the company and have fun bs'ing. I didn't give Casey as hard a time as I usually do but I did manage a few pokes here and there. :D

The Bush Hog did really good plowing. Didn't spin at all except on the one uphill side at a wet spot when Sparky was using it. I think I do have some engine work to do on it though. It runs like a top but she is starting to smoke pretty good when it gets a load on it or is revved up.

Anyway, here are the pics that we took and I will be adding them to the gallery also.
