Believe me, I feel for you people who are dealing with floods! In 2010, we lost a home to a flood. My choice was relocate or rebuild.
Did not have the heart to rebuild and face the chance of it happening again.
So went from the lowest point in the county,and 1 mile from the river, to the highest point in the county and 8 miles from the river.

water water every where & not a drop to drink (; here where i am we get more dry days a year than wet 1's so we enjoy most any rain we get

Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. I still remember that from school too. "Water water everywhere and yet the boards do shrink". That as far as my memory goes. 

Sounds like we might get hammered again today. They are predicting Scattered heavy thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rains. 

Boy are the weeds growing. :mad2:

but it's that time of yr for you people , spring & early summer storms ,

 

as for the rhyme that's all i knew about it , dad used to say it.'

 

lol more GT time when it does fine up a bit & the mud dries
