ive am a bolens collector but i always had a soft spot for the rj58. so after 10 years of looking i found this one last fall. well i started restoring it an i wanted to share some pics of the resto process.

That will be a fine tractor when you get it done. It's hard not to have a soft spot for the little guy.... Nice start, keep us posted...

well its almost done i just have to get the decals and paint the letters on the hood and engine shrould almond an i think im going to also paint the shifter almond like i did the seat, wheels, steering wheel and oil bath air cleaner. i think it really sets it off

THANKS for all the complements it took me a long time to find this tractor an it was all complete so it was a good find. i sold a beaver tractor to a guy at a show an i told him i was looking for a RJ so at the time i didnt have a computer an he took my number well it paid off an he called a month later say there was one in gettyburg pa with a moldboard plow an disc harrow for 500. i called the owner an set a date to get it an brought her home. o love this tractor an now shes looking good. i painted the letters on the hood today an that really puts the iceing on the cake

Mighty fine bit of work you've done there. Now all she needs is a few decals and you all set. Good job saving this horse, too.

Really nice job on that rj. So is it safe to say you like wheelhorse better than bolens now lol.
