Hi Guys: I was having so much trouble with replacing the fan belt that I don't know where this wire goes. I don't remember taking this wire off (the one with the orange ribbon on it). It has 12.5v all of the time. The starter will not turn over the way it is, but the lights turn on with the ignition.

I would appreciate any help. Hope you are all having a nice holiday.

Brady

The only wires that go forward past my alternator on my G152 are the lights.

How many 'On' positions does the the first (center) ignition switch have? Should be off at 12 o'clock, then 1-2-3. Headlights on at the last (3 o'clock) position.

Welcome to GTT. You can download the manual from our Manuals Section(3 for free per day), if that will help. Good Luck, Rick

It does not go past the alternator; it must fasten to one of the terminals on the alternator.

Mine has three positions; lights are on with 2 &3.

Thanks, I will try that.

Edit: I couldn't find one for the Bolens/Iseki.

My fault for only looking at that pic on my phone, now I'm on the PC. I will go out and trace the wires off that terminal tomorrow night and report back. We'll find where it goes.

Edit: Also, it won't crank. I just tried to crank it momentarily to line up the PTO shaft.  Is there some sort of safeguard that the heaters have to be hot before it will crank?

Thanks for all of the responses.

I found out where it goes, to the terminal on the right which already has one wire connected to it.  It should be labeled 'B', but I couldn't read it.  The other two are labeled 'E' and 'N'.I found out where it goes, to the terminal on the right which already has one wire connected to it.  It should be labeled 'B', but I couldn't read it.  The other two are labeled 'E' and 'N'.

It didn't crank, because I did not have the clutch pedal depressed.    :rolling:

BTW, the fan belt was a 3/8", 34" length.  The Dayco designation is L334.
