Dang Maynard, you've been a busy beaver with this trailer. Great work on it for sure. If you decide to make it a dumper later, it shouldn't be hard to modify it. Isn't it great having a metal lathe for stuff like this! Looking forward to the finished pics. And as far as a messy shop......please, that place is totally immaculate compared to mine right now....and I kid you not one bit! Mine looks like a tsunami went through it, then back out!

Good progress Maynard. Also, I agree, great looking shop.

P.S. All I have under a sheet in the garage is the Toro push mower.:laughingteeth:

My camera is acting up,it doesn't seem to want to focus so bare with me and I'll get some more photos up as soon as I can.Today I am going to put a coat of zinc chromemate primer on the galvanised metal.I may if get a chance, test fit the decking in place so I can drill the mounting holes.

Here is a shot of the main frame after I got it primed.I used zinc chromate primer on the galvanised metal first, followed be a couple of coats a epoxy primer.
I see my camera is still not working right,it won't focus.

Yeah, keep it out of focus so we can't nitpick it. I'm on to you.

Maynard, I think you are doing a great job on the trailer. Sorry about the focus, maybe if I take my glasses off the pics will look great.

Well I got it painted yesterday and not real happy with the paint.I thought I grabbed gloss black, but it's satin and I don't want that look,so I think I'll repaint today . I think I'll put on some DuPont Centari gloss black acrylic enamel.I wanted something a little tougher for a finish but considering it already has epoxy primer, and epoxy paint on it,I think it will be quite durable.
I'll see if I can get some pics later,I don't know,I couldn't upload pics onto the computer last night.
