Looking for Delco Remy 1101939 starter generators or equivalent number. These units are used on vertical shaft Briggs, and Kohler KV161, engines found on my Springfields. Ended up using one similar on one already, and need to replace it since not sure if it is suited for vertical usage, and I was intending to use it on a Briggs horizontal shaft. I don't care if it generates (nice bonus), just as long as it spins to start engines. I can switch starter generators around some as I plan to run total loss electrical systems on a few tractors (magneto) to avoid buying lots of batteries and regulators.

Go looking for some junk Simplicity Broadmoors, Casey.  You see those old style generators by the dozen on them.

I was just thinking the same as Ben, I have the generator off of an old Simplicity 707. And I have no use for the generator. I will find it tomorrow and check the numbers.
