What a testament to how well these were made back in the 70's.  This tractor has been sitting outside in heat and snow for the past 30 years under a ripped up plastic tarp.!After 30 years of silence ........ she came to life today!  After changing the oil, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, new fuel shutoff valve, cleaning the tank and carb, replacing the fuel pump . . . .  .  she roared back to life!

Hydraulics are all working and she runs strong in both Lo and Hi rear end gears.

I remember the day my Dad bought this tractor and had me drive it home.  I still have the manuals where we wrote down the model and serial numbers after cleaning her up when I got her home.  :rocker:

No better feeling than getting something running that's been idle for so many years.

Just another testament to how good these older tractors are.

Those are a nice solid mid sized GT. It's good to hear that you saved another one from the scrap yard.
