Found this little bundle of joy on the dog late last night.
Probably only a day or so from climbing off.

I've picked probably 15 ticks off myself since the start of nice weather. I haven't seen so many of those diesease carrying suckers for a long time.

I run a regular tick check every evening while grooming all three dogs. Not so bad on the German Shepard, but oh, those Tibetan Mastiffs! Asia has three inch long hair in his mane, a regular jungle habitat for the little beggars. Haven't found any yet, but the season is young, they'll be there.

yep, we went to my inlaws on Mothers day in the afternoon. I had to walk down my side drive which is all tree lined and covered with honey suckle. I found 3 ticks on me in my 10 min drive.

My granddaughter down in Tnn. is just getting over rocky mountain spotted fever..  Lovely little creatures!!
