I know I've seen it somewhere, but now that I need it, I can't find the "how to install" instructions. Can one of you knowledgeable gentlemen please help a newbie out.  Thanks!

I have a 3012 and now you started me thinking. I don't know the answer but I looked in the Manuals Section but only found parts of the instructions in with the tillers and revitalizer(which came with my 3012). I look forward to the answer too. Good Luck, Rick

What variety are you working with? There are 2 types. What model tiller?

I'm not sure of the model as someone painted over the info. This is what it looks like.

You have tiller mfg# 990392 or 990455. Both are the same.

Any Simplicity manual can be found for free here:

Here is your drive arrangement:

Thanks for all your help. Seems I'm missing the "belt release guard" configuration. That's why I couldn't figure out how to mount the part of the pto engagement lever with the spring. Back to the hunt for parts. :wallbanging:

I have a spare...PM where to send it, and it's yours.  Should be $5 or under to mail your way, and will probably be there Saturday if I can get it mailed tomorrow.

Do you have any photos of what you do have?  Maybe we can find another part or two, if you happen to be missing more.

Found some pics of one of my old setups...

Now this is the earlier 32" model...990174, but the housing over the tine section is the only real difference.

I actually have that tiller as well.

In the pictures I'm about to post are the things I have. Not pictured is the double pully to go on the BGB shaft. I have to do a little digging before I can remove it from the '64 Landlord.

In the pics you'll also see the hole in the lever end that bolts to the spring rod, is rather large, if that's for a thick washer so it can pivot, I don't have the washer..

Thank you so much for your help. I'd be glad to pay for any, and all parts, and of course shipping.
