i have a fmc-bolens lawn keeper with tecumseh tvm195 engine. is this the original engine? the pivot point seems not to be straight. also wear do you get parts for this old of machine?

Your engine is a later version of the Lauson/Tecumseh engines that were original equipment on lawn keepers.  The attached file shows the various engines used on lawn keepers during their production years.  During the early production years, the lawn keepers even used some Briggs and Straton engines.

 

All the Lauson and Tecumseh engines are the "medium frame vertical engines" which your tvm195 is an example of the last ones produced.
