I took this tractor as a trade in on another tractor which was a trade on another tractor which was original traded as part payment of a repair that was too expensive.

Welcome to the wonderful world of horse trading, Virginia style.  :rolling:

This Simplicity 7116H is now hunting for a new home.  It runs great with a 16 HP cast iron bulletproof Briggs.  Starts right up and doesn't smoke,  It does have a little oil dribble down its front, but that is probably a seal repair.  It is not excessive, just enough to dirty its chin.  I put a new starter on the engine and a new battery in the tractor and it fired right up even after sitting for years.

I did rebuild the hydro in it.  One of the relief valves (implement lift incidentally) had broken a spring, and then the hydro was also leaking substantially.  I went ahead and disassembled it and resealed the whole unit with all new o rings, gaskets, and seals.

The tractor comes with a good left hand discharge mower deck, a snow blade, wheel weights, and tire chains.  It also comes with a new seat and you are more than welcome to the remnants of the old ratty seat if you are so inclined.

I am asking $750 for it.

Can I get a louder hint, maybe?  :poke:

I really do like it.  It sure can pull.  I tested out the hydro using it as a shop mule for a day, and it was sweating, but it never lost traction... even pulling my heavy trailer out from the bottom of the hill.
