Does anyone have a source on parts for a mackissic shredder? I was making mulch and my screen broke again, I need to find a place to buy them. I looked on ebay but did not see any yesterday.

Did you check the MacKissic web site?

They may sell the screen directly, or they will refer you to the nearest dealer / distributor.

I bought one a few years ago, and it was approx. $85.

There is a MacKissic distributor in Alburtis, PA, by the name of Canns-Bilco, which is where I bought my screen.  ....They may sell mail-order if you don't find one closer.

I should be able to kit MacKissic parts.  What model do you have?  I can get you a price.

You may need to send me a PM to wake me up... I am on here sporadically this time of year.

It sounds like you have a MacKissic model 9P shredder without the side chipper hopper.  (Model 9PT had 4 wheels)

The shredder/chipper was a model 12P (2 wheels) or 12PT (4 wheels).

All 4 of these models used the same screens.   ......A screen with 1" holes came with the shredder, but there are screens available with various size openings.

Bruce is right, there are different sizes.  Do you prefer 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or standard 1 inch.

I did order one from this dealer last Friday and got it on Wed. Very good service and would do business with again. Total price shipped was 120 bucks....ouch. Guess I will be more careful on what goes in the shredder now

After my earlier post saying I paid $85 a few years ago, I looked online and saw the current price is now $100.

I agree - OUCH !  ....I now pay more attention to what I toss in the shredder, as well.
