working on my David Bradley last night and this morning to get it going in the garden,  I need help with throttle and choke linkages, I know choke is just a short rod but don't know where or how to mount it and don't know where to hook up or mount throttle cable.  Tractor has been pieced together from several tractors of mine,  Trying to keep it as original as possible, I know I have a Clinton tank but it had the prettiest paint.  I have a very nice hood, just took it off last night.

Also which way should I put the engine pully on? I've seen them on both ways

I would like to get that adjustable foot into the garden to start hilling up the potatoes!

The pulley can be mounted either way. It is a function of speed. 2.1 mph on small side of the pulley, 2.4 mph on the big side of the pulley.

Thanks for the support doug!

I had done some research and learned about the speeds of the pully,  other thing I learned was making the tractor speed slower will speed up the attachments, Thats my plan,  only attachment I plan to use on it is the cord wood saw!

I found a good throttle cable long enough, I have an Idea how it hooks up but not 100 percent certain.

Still lost on choke setup.....

Also need to narrow wheel track up, hopefully tomorrow.

I'm guessing that the cable hooks into the left hole and the cable clamps into the notch on the right with a screw and washer.... any thoughts?  picture is flipped to the left for some reason

still curious about the choke linkage........

Is that a N or an 8? Looks like the air shroud is off a 8 or 6S.

The only way I can see to help you figure out where everything goes is to tell you buy another one that's all complete. lol

looks like you only have about half of the choke pull rod, it should look like the one in the last posted pictures and go thru the bracket on the side. Depending on the tractor model the throttle cable come up from the bottom of the motor mount, from a hole in the handles and hooks up to the linkage slide. the coiled part of the cable would go in that groove with a tiny screw and washer pinching it to the block.
