The 917.57560 was the Briggs 6 Super power and ran the same 1951-1953 range...

My mistake, I saw the model number as 917.57551 in passing.

 

Model 6 or 8 wasn't the point I was making, so did not notice the error that was created. Thanks for the correction.

Point made.

 

560 used a briggs model 8, that's were the super power part came in. Model 6 is only 2hp , model 8 is 2.5.

Did they only use the " ball-lock" clutches on Super Powers ?  Or was it just all models got them ?
