I'm certain he is one of those who has read the manual before operating. They just edited it out for time.

Well Vince Gill wrote a song based on George Jones riding his John Deere to the bar!

Nothing has been mentioned about a break in period. I assume he rode it home at top speed.

That's better than mowing with it first thing!

I'll say that he certainly broke in the transmission on the way home too.

The resemblance is uncanny.

I would say either he gets a dui on it or doesn't have a driver's license because that has already happened. I will watch for him on cops. LOL

That was EXTREMELY painful to watch.  Nice job of clearing all the stones out of the yard before he used it.  WOW!!!

He should buy $200 Craigslist mowers.

Some people just shouldn't own power equipment.  He could have made this so much better had he gone through the McDonalds drive thru on the way home.  Helpful hint: Don't buy anything off this guy.

Aside from failing to set up the mower before trying it out, and being overly exuberant about having a new toy to play with, I really don't see anything wrong here.

I've taken both my GT and my SCUT on the city streets down to my daughter's to take my grandson for a ride, a distance of over 2 miles. It takes longer to hook up the trailer and load and chain down the tractor than it takes to just drive the tractor down there.

If that little jaunt is bad for the tractor, I wouldn't want it. I put more miles on my LT mowing the lawns once, and the transmission gets more of a workout in the process. At least he broke the engine in with little load. Mine got pressed into full duty shortly after unloading it from the van straight from the dealer.

That guy is an accident looking for a place to happen. I like the way he kept leapfrogging parking lots on the way home. I wonder why he didn't mow the roadside while he was heading home. The video was likely shot by a person with a cell phone while trying to drive. I guess it's a good thing he didn't buy a rototiller. :rolling:
