I was out surfing and found this Interchange Guide for Craftsman to Tecumseh model #'s. Thought you folks would like it here to find it easily. Here's a list of who made what (shorter that TD&H's above), but I think it pretains more to the tractors.

Here's the engine model interchange. It starts with vertical shaft engines, the horizontal's are further down. If you have a Craftsman tractor with a Tecumseh, but a Craftsman model # on the engine, this will tell you which Tecumseh it is.

That I can not say! From the length of the file, I would think it covers those too.

Ok, thanks I'll download it and find out, I will let everybody know here.

Edit, it appears that it does cover at least some of the smaller engines.

I know very little about Tecumseh engines, so I cannot say what it will cover. Just thought you folks could get some use out of the chart.

Is this PDF still available to download?  I clicked on the attachment and just get an error message.  It looks like it contains the information I need!

This is an issue that has developed and the current owners are "unable" to find or correct the issue.
They let it fall back on the staff to correct the issue one at a time.

I have sent the staff a report to see if they can find another copy somewhere.
Keep watching, the staff is top notch, so if they can, they will.

I am new to the Forum and have many questions. I currently own a Sears ST16 with the Tecumseh 16hp side shaft engine (oh valves I believe) and a Craftsman 2004 model GT5000 mfg. by A Y M. I’m trying to identify the part number for the Walboro carb on the Tecumseh engine. Also some where I read a thread on some forum that was posted by a “CharlieB“ that there was inexpensive replacement carbs for this engine on eBay. Is anyone possibly aware or the carburetor or carburetors that he was speaking of that is offered for sale on eBay and who the seller of the item or item,s are. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Also thanks for the ad to this Forum, I live in Newton, NC, and woul like to meet others in the Catawba County area who have either of these Tractors, thanks.
