I responded within 8 minutes of the posting, using 2 accounts. I was very lucky indeed!! I even offered to pay via Paypal to clinch it but he said he was a man of his word, thank goodness. The first thing he said to me today when picking it up was, " I think I put to low of a price on it", I said "yes you did". He had no idea what it was worth, his words. The good thing for him was he got it for FREE, well for putting in time at an institution. I think the motor is probably worth $1000 alone?

I like men of their word, there are not as many of them around anymore. You got a steal. Now the thing I want to know is that is one hell of a coincidence you and I were both going after the same tractor and you registered and your first post was in my thread about the same tractor? LOL

Front blade, no mower deck and not 3pt. $500

It is just as bad as a guy in Halifax a day before listed a Cub 782 that wouldn't start and was sitting in his barn for a couple years for $250. I emailed within 2 hours of the listing, he said I was #28 in line and if the other 27 fell through he would be in touch LOL

After I got it home today I did a Google search on cub 1782 looking to see if others had seen the post and were interested. Other hobby groups seem to always point out these posts with many being bogus with a price like this.

$500, no deck, rear pto or 3pt hitch (SNIFF, SNIFF). BEGGERS CAN'T BE CHOOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have another deck for it though..................

I am just teasing ya, I am jealous though. I have been wanting a diesel for a long time. Congrats on the buy though. It is amazing how quick google indexes some of the stuff we post on here. :D

Yes, a diesel was my next progression into this addiction I now have. My next step is a compact, diesel, 4x4, bucket, rear pto and 3pt hitch, I guess..................

Very nice piece, I still think you should alleviate the tractor disease and I will even help by buying it from you for $550 :D
