I had to make a quick decision on my way to my sisters cabin . I looked at what was advertised as a non running David Bradley . Hooded tractor pictured with a cultivator but also was a cordwood saw but no pictures . The tractor has what apears to be the orginial Continental engine ,turns over ,doesn't look too bad . When he showed me the cordwood saw it was just the buck frame that was very rusty, blade and guard , no arbor . Then he showed me another attachment , a weedcutter which looks complete ,arbor and jackshaft turn free . I'm not sure but I'm thinking all of that goes together so you would use the arbor on both the weedcutter and swap it over to use on the cordwood saw ? I took a chance and gave him a deposit and will pick it up this week . Anyone have info on these attachments working together ?

I can't even find a picture of the weedcutter , looks to be instead of the bush cutter saw blade there's a single rotary blade , covered and one caster wheel on the front right side . I'll get some pictures when I get this home

I found this so it easier to explain  , What I'm getting is the middle one , the Weed Cutter like what's shown ,  and  Cordwood  saw buck frame without arbor ,

It's a good possibility the weed cutter arbor will work on the saw.

Looking at those 3 pics, I wonder if you couldn't also make a tree saw out of that too?

Bet your right too.  In those old Sears ads they keep mentioning conversions , here's a different page , not sure if it can be read . That's what I'm hoping for . It would be pretty neat for a display .

Where did you get that page? I may be able to make it into a readable PDF.

Looks like I did get the Bucksaw & Weedcutter  conversions for the  Bush/Tree saw

The tractor is a Super Power 57561 Bucksaw 57567  Weedcutter 57590  Bush Saw 57565

Everything is pretty rusted but other then the clutch rod seems to be there .

Nice bunch of DB stuff.
That brush cutter looks Non OSHA approved (which means it probably works well)
Really cool, hope it comes back to life for you.

You need to go back and find the control rod for the arbor clutch, you already have the mount on the tractor. That is also the correct engine pulley that goes with the saws. You have the conversion bundle, nice find. I have a few, but only one complete with the rod.

I did see that it wasn't there , the fellow who I bought it from was going back to the place he got it from to see if it was there , if not would it be hard to make ?
