:p I had mentioned these before, but I thought I would grab a couple photos.

Tonight I started all my herb seeds in the mini seed starter trays. I added a couple more from my last post and doubled up on two of the most used ones. Anyway, these things work great, but really are sweet for these seed pellets. The curved shape of the tag fits snug against the round pellet shape. Plus, I left these square so that they have a wide base to keep them in place in the trays.

Not only do they make great tags, just trim one to a pointed round shape, and they are perfect to channel the seeds where you wish to plant them! (Great for herbs that can have seed that are as small as sand fleas!)

What is this magic free source of tags a plenty?? Why, they are extra strips from a window blind! You can keep a damaged one, or fit your blinds to your window, and remove all the excess. This not only looks better on the window, and has less weight that you have to lift, but sources your free tags! I need to replace one in our bathroom, so soon I will have plenty, but for now, I just stole two strips and have left over!

I love this tip that I found on the net one day... a sharpie writes on them just great.
