I haven't seen one of these in person until today.  Cool old tractor!  It is a Lawn Boy GT 18 H.  Made by Gilson.  Same as a Ford, just different color paint.  You know me, I like them green! :D  Starts great, runs great. 48 inch deck.  Only thing missing are the 2 pulleys on the mule drive assembly.  I thought the whole thing was missing, but I had a closer look a little while ago.  Lucky me!!!

It was a 6 hour round trip to pick it up, down south east of me near the Lake of the Ozarks.

Really nice GT I would be proud to own it.Ford/Lawn Boy/Gilson PTO is setup the same as on my old Gilson s16 twin hydro. Those 2 speed hydros are Really nice.

Looking through PartsTree it's showing a Very simple Mule drive setup.Just 2 pulleys both attached to the frame and 1 has a spring on it.

I have one just like that.  Love the thing and wish I could find another one.
