To most a move is just that but to us it is something that we have been wanting for 30+ years. A brief history. We had 9 acres in Bethel, Oh & lived in West Chester, Oh planning on building in Bethel. I suffered a major job loss back in 1982 because of plant relocating out of town.
My in laws became very ill so my wife spent a lot of time taking care of them. It was a 90 minute drive round trip so sometimes she would spend the night. I was getting our building business off the ground at the same time.
Not being fully employed yet, not knowing what we were going to do my in laws offered the house in the city next door to them. We could stay there almost rent free for how ever long we wanted. We figured a few years to get back on our feet & the in laws to get healthy. My MIL suffered kidney failure, my FIL was hurt bad in a car accident...teenager T boned him.
Now the few years has turned into many more, we hated living in the city but knew we had to. We had so much stuff stored, we sold our property, sold our boat, & pretty much living un packed. Running my business was a problem not having the room along with the family missing our old home.
MIL died two years ago & FIL is really bad with heart failure among many other things but stable & gets around. It has been 31 years now & we feel like its time to move on.
We will be moving mid June but we have started now & it will take some time to get 30 years of belongings together plus my new hobby now of my tractors & stuff.
The house sits on 20 acres in Falmouth, Ky. The fenced in area is just shy of an acre. its beautiful country, rolling hills, creek near by & the good ole country air that we haven't had in a long time. It's about 15 minutes to the nearest town. The house has three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, two full baths, new heat pump with AC, & full basement. My house (garage) :D is 20' wide x 27" long & 103" high with an insulated ceiling. Walls are open frame, electric but of coarse not enough, large under ground conduit ran for future 220 meaning NOW! We have a two year old 12,000 gallon cistern with septic system ( not together) :D .
I'm not sure if I can but I would like to try to get a garden out ASAP. This will be an experience for us getting use to the country again & the peace. We are so happy with all this & have been wanting, praying & believing for a long time for something like this. Hope you enjoy our blessings with us Praise God!

That is some beautiful countryside.  I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you get used to the quiet again.  Don't worry, it won't take long.  Nothing like living in the country!  I'm so happy for you!

Very nice.

Congratulations on making your dreams come true.

Nothing beats living in the country.

I can see a drive shed behind the shop, for your favorite GTs, another

one a bit further back for the parts units and misc.
